Guernsey Goats are currently registered through the British Goat Society (BGS), and pedigrees can be viewed on their Grassroots website. Registration of goats at all levels of breeding up as well as ownership transfers are easily done online and fees are quite reasonable.

The Guernsey Goat breed has been recognized by the American Dairy Goat Association, and ADGA registration will begin when the ADGA Next Generation software is fully functional.
